About us
Our mission
We want students to leave Thompson with solid knowledge and the belief that they can succeed. Through practical work, projects and regular feedback, students learn to take the lead, and we prepare them to apply to top universities around the world.
About Thompson
Thompson began in 2018 as a learning centre. Today, Thompson is an educational network of 7 schools, 6 kindergartens and 10 learning centres.
Thompson International School is the core of the network, with campuses in Tashkent, Navoiy and Namangan. Students join us in the preparatory class (Grade 0), and we equip them to study at universities abroad.
Our history
- 2018The beginning: a learning centre
Our story started with a learning centre for children. During the pandemic, we continued teaching through online English courses.
- 2022Our first school, in Navoiy
The learning centre grew into a school when the first Thompson International School opened its doors in Navoiy.
- 2023Expanding into Tashkent
A year later, we arrived in the capital. Our second campus opened in Chilonzor (Novza), and we launched IELTS and SAT preparation courses.
- 2024Our first grant and the Uchtepa campus
For the first time, one of our graduates won a grant from a US university. The same year, at the request of parents, we opened our third campus in Uchtepa.
- 2025New campuses and the Thompson App
We opened campuses in Shayxontohur, Olmazor and Namangan. Thompson became an official IELTS and SAT test centre. We also launched the Thompson App, which connects parents, students and teachers on one platform.
- 2026Yunusobod, our flagship campus
Our seventh campus opened in Yunusobod. With larger STEAM labs and its own sports complex, it sets the standard for the whole network.

How to apply
Applying to Thompson International School takes five steps:

A member of our admissions team will call you, answer your questions and help you find the right campus for your child.
- Book a tour
Choose a day and time to visit the school.
- Tour and meeting with the Principal
Walk round the school, see a typical school day and meet the Principal.
- Sign the contract
Once the terms are agreed, you sign the contract and your child starts school.
