Thompson School is accredited as an international school across all four programmes. Accreditation is reconfirmed every five years by an external review team.

Preparatory class (Grade 0) — 0 grade
Primary school, grades 1–4 — 1-4 grade
Middle school, grades 5–7 — 5-7 grade
Senior school, grades 8–11 — 8-11 grade

Preparatory class (Grade 0)0 grade
A gentle way into school: routine, attention, language and the first study habits. A child settles into the school day before grade 1 begins.
Primary school, grades 1–41-4 grade
The foundation: reading, writing, arithmetic and confident English from grade 1. This is where the habit of learning — rather than memorising — is set.
Middle school, grades 5–75-7 grade
Subject depth, laboratories, IT and the first serious examinations. Students move from one teacher to subject specialists.
Senior school, grades 8–118-11 grade
Specialist preparation, IELTS and SAT, and the work of applying. Our graduates take up scholarships and places at leading universities.
